How long do lashes last?

How long do false lashes normally last up to? Usually how long/many times do you use a pair of lashes until you dispose of them?

It depends on the person and how much of a 'clean freak' you are I guess. I've never worn them more than once a pair, but that's only because I only wore them once.. ever. lol.

But really, if you don't coat them with mascara, You can pretty much use them until they fall apart or whatever.

If you don't coat them with mascara, are careful about taking the glue off and put them back in their case, they should last you about 3-5 wearings, with most of them lasting for 3x.

Um, I actually wear mine for a looong time. Not sure if that is a bad thing or not.. but i'd say about 10-15x and they still look practically new

I use MAC's #7 lashes and if I'm careful getting the glue off after wearing them and put them back in their case in that "U" shape, I usually can get 4-5 times usage outta them. And I never put mascara on my falsies...you really don't need to as they are long and lush enough.

i read somewhere that they can be used for 3 weeks following the first use. not sure if that applies to daily use. but i'm sure if you take proper care of them & don't apply mascara to them they'll last you a LONG time.

i rarely wear falsies because i have trouble applying them, but if you keep them clean and take good care of them they can last you 5, 7 even 10 uses.

just make sure to clean them really well and keep their form by putting them back in the box you took them out of neatly. and don't use much mascara if any.

I wear them until they're ratty and falling apart. And even then, I'll give them one last chance just in case they're still workable XD

I think I've used my current pair of Ardell #110s like, 7-8x now, and they're still perfectly functional, nay, dare I say, in good shape. I don't use mascara on my top lashes after applying them, and I don't even take that good care of them (I've been known to wrap them in a piece of paper and shove it in my bag because I can't find the box). Sturdy little things.

The thing is that it's tricky getting the glue off without ruining the shape, and often there's makeup residue that's nearly impossible to get off. If you rinse them in water, the lash hairs totally lose the shape and look terrible, so it's best not to rinse them. I use tweezers to pick off as much of the glue as possible, but the lashes end up looking bad after about 5 uses.
