How Long is Your Nighttime Regimen ? [I`m Jealous of Men]

A lot of the time I`m jealous of how easy most guys have it.. to remove makeup, wash face, brush teeth [not even counting a shower] I somehow manage to take 25mins !

Some days I almost feel like I`d rather be a lazy hermit, but I`m only 20 so school doesn`t allow it

Is anyone else in the same boat !?

Mine takes about 20-30 minutes but I take my time

Makeup-Removal + Exfoliate, Shower, Moisturize Body, Brush Teeth (20min)
If I have to wash my hair and shave 10-15 mins longer

But so you know my Diva husband takes just as long in the bathroom if not longer.....He is a true Metrosexual and he has to look pretty for the pillow.

To remove my makeup and wash, tone, moisturize my face: 10 min
Brush teeth+floss: 7 min
Shower + wash hair: 20 min

My husband takes FOREVER in the shower. 30-40 min

Get the crap off my face, couple of mins.
I always have a shower or bath before bed, 20 or so mins. Brush teeth while I'm in there.
Slap on some moisturiser all over and put my hair up, 5 mins.

Not too bad!

When it comes to getting ready for anything (whether it's for bed or for going out somewhere) here's how it goes in our house:

<30 mins before we need to leave or go to bed>
Me: Honey, it's nearly bedtime / time to leave.
Hubby: Mmmm yeah I only need 5 mins.

<30 mins later>
Me: Ready?
Hubby: Ohhhh yeah right I'm not ready yet. But it's ok, it only takes me 5 mins to get ready.

<then I wait 20 mins which is how long he actually takes to get ready>

Funnily enough now it's just routine... I just tell him he needs to be ready 20 minutes before he actually does ;-) Hehe.

My hubby takes longer in the shower than I do for some reason.
Most nights I have on no makeup so no removal to do, altho most of the time I walk in the door, walk in the kitchen grab some olive oil, bye bye makeup

At night it's shower-etc etc, tone-juice beauty thingy, moisturize

LOL TISH that was cute.

It depends, some days I'm pretty lazy and I'll just use a couple of Olay cleansing clothes to remove makeup and then finish with a hot damp face cloth. Then I follow with some moisturizer. That probably takes only around 5 minutes.

When I am being very good probably takes a good 20 to 25 minutes. Makeup remover, exfoliator, cleanser folowed by eye cream and moisturizer. Then there's my body! I tend to have dry skin from showering everyday and it's so cold and dry in Canada I like to take my time and apply body lotion all over, including my feet.

Wow, nightime is a breeze compared to morning! Maybe that's because I shower in the mornings - I didn't realize there were so many nightime showerers, lol.

I usually do my routine in parts. First thing is always take of contacts, then watch some TV/read, go wash off makeup and tone, go back to what I was doing, then finally floss and brush teeth.

5 minutes, MAYBE 10 if I wore heavy eye makeup and can be bothered to try and take it off. Yes I'm gross, and sleep with my makeup only half ass removed most of the time. ~L~ esp mascara it just pisses me off when i'm tired, so i usually thow makeup remover on, wipe off what is willing to come off, and then rinse it off.. and do it once more in the morning before my shower to REALLY get it off.

I have my showers in the morning but don't take much time to get ready either. I don't even make time for makeup everyday. Usually its shower, throw hair int a headband, and throw on moisturizer, whatever clothes are easiest and go!

It depends on what day it is for me. If my hair is straight then I just have to put it up. Then take off my makeup with a baby wipe and wash my face and moisturize. Then wash my brushes for tomorrow and brush my teeth. Then lipbalm. That takes about 20 minutes.

If I have to wash my hair that night, that means I have to do a deep condition beforehand and that takes 2 hours of just letting the oil sit there. Then I have to do everything else above and altogether that takes 2.5 hours.

Do you guys that take showers at night take showers in the morning? I always shower in the morning but I might start doing it at night... At night I just wash my face and brush my teeth, 10 minutes tops.

Not long at at all... wash off my makeup, cleanse, tone, proactiv repair lotion if necessary (tho my skin has been looking clear for months now, so yay!) and eye cream.

Then I brush my teeth and put my hair up in a loose bun and I'm good to go.. to sleep.

I always shower in the morning, so between that, and hair and makeup and outfit, the morning regimen can be a pain in the ass.

I just feel cleaner when I shower in the morning

plus morning showers help me to wake up. I'd say at night it takes 5-10mins take off makeup, moisturise(sometimes) brush teeth, brush hair, then get dressed into jammies then I'm set

Well considering I only wear makeup on the weekends my night time regimen during the week is around 8 minutes. I wash my face, moisturize and brush my teeth.

On the weekends its about maybe 10 minutes. I take off my makeup (remove eye make up first with olive oil then use a makeup clothes for foundation, blush, etc),give my face a deep cleansing, moisturize then brush my teeth.

If we're counting showers I would say add 25 minutes (for a combination of morning and night showers.

Ever since I started removing my makeup with olive oil I've cut my bedtime routine by at least 10 mins. I take olive oil in my palms and rub it all over my eye. It gets every last drop of mascara. My other makeup removers take FOREVER and they still don't get everything. Then I get all the oil off with cetaphil for oily skin.
My skin has never been in such great shape!
But yeah, at least 20 minutes here. I don't shower at night because it would wake my little toddler up!

It takes me around 8 minutes. I use MAC's Cleanse Off Oil in the shower and that pretty much removes EVERYTHING. Next I use a facial cleanser for my face and neck and wash the rest of my body and I'm out in 5 minutes (gotta save water here!) Then I moisturize and that takes maybe 3 minutes. Nice and quick

I don't have a night time regimen.

I work from 8pm-4am, and I'm so tired when I get home, I usually just brush my teeth and go to sleep.

Now, when I have my supply of Garden of Wisdom products, my ritual takes about a half hour, but I don't really mind.

Getting ready for work though? I start getting ready at 330pm, so we can be to work by 645pm. And most of that time is sucked up by me doing eyeshadow, lol. I'm OCD, so things have to be "just so" for me to be comfortable.

Another night time showerer (is that a word?!) here!!

I hate having a shower in the morning... I'm slow in the mornings anyway and I like to take my time. Say if I had to leave at 8am, I'd probably have to get up at 5:45 to have a shower if that includes washing hair etc haha.

My night time routine is probably about 20 mins long.... remove makeup with baby wipes, wash face, tone, moisturiser, blush teeth.

My morning ritual takes about 25 minutes, an extra 10 minutes if I have to straighten my hair. At night, it's a bit faster since I just wash my face (a microfiber makeup removing mitt is a lifesaver!), brush my teeth and slather on the night cream.
