How many girls collect the postcards they have? and how often do they come out?

I collect them although I won't pay huge prices for them. I believe they come out with every promotion but not every store gets every one or they might get a really limited amount, not sure....

I've just started collecting them, but I wouldn't pay silly prices for them. I put them into a clip frame.

I collect them -- mostly to frame them and decorate my walls!

MAC mostly releases them with major color collection releases, but it varies a lot by country. Recently, the US and Canada only seem to get postcards for the really big ones (Rebelrock, Madame B., D'Bohemia, etc.) but Asia and other regions of the world get ones for some of the small collections (Goldplay, Lipgelees, Lustrelong, etc.). There's likely to be one for Ornamentalism, which is the next major release... but there may be some floating around for the smaller collections coming out this week.

There are more and more people collecting them these days -- I remember when I was giving mine away and no one really cared about them! Now people will pay $100+ for an older or rare card!

I've apparently created a lot of my own competition for cards I want on eBay and MUA! I've heard from at least a dozen people who weren't really collecting until they decided to hang them, too!

They're display posters from MAC, which aren't generally available to the public. You basically have to be in the right place at the right time! There are a few on eBay from time to time... at the moment, I think there's a D'Bohemia one and a Naturally Eccentric one available in auctions.

How did you get the MAC posters? I covet your Madame B... awesome.

I collect them but I don't see the point in paying for them. Unless it is one that I really really like and can't get my hands on.

Thanks! You really just have to be in the right place at the right moment -- be friends with a MA or snatch one up on eBay. At the moment, I believe there are a couple of MAC posters for auction.
