I'm about to depot like 40 shadows and put them in the 15 palettes. How do you arrange yours? buy color or by finish or favorite colors? i hope i don't break any.

I have 15 pan palettes like this: 1. pinks, 2. neutrals, 3. peaches,4. warm browns and 5. plum/purples. Then I have 4 pan palettes for my blues and greens since I wear those less. And they are all full! Picking up more 15 pan palettes this weekend!

Agree here also! That is how I have them. Then I within each palette I have them kinda light to dark. Hope this helps, Dawn

I have mine arranged by colors in 15 pan pallettes and have typed a listing of colors on paper and attached it to the inside of the pallette. I marked the outside of the pallette with a silver sharpie marker to let me see which pallette is which at a glance.
It works great!

Renee, I like the idea of listing the colors inside the palette! I always seem to knick mine when I try to lift them out for whatever reason....I think I am going to steal that idea from you. I use a label maker to label the outside of mine, that way if I decide to change it up, I can just replace the label.

i organize them according to color spectrum which kinda sucks sometims cause i have to reach into one palette for one color and another for lik 2 colors

I have mine kind of different, I think. I like to place the shades in combos of threes (vertically) that I like to wear. To look at one of my palettes, the top row is all highlight type shades, the middle brights, the bottom row crease colors (or darks). Saves me tons of time in the morning. And that doesn't prevent me from mixing it up, which is what I do most days, but it works great on those days when I'm blocked for ideas.

This is the only reason I like the 4 pan because with those I can arrange by look. With my 15 pan I did it by color, but it does stink to have to open mulitple palettes for one look.

I do ine by warms and cools and then the rows of 3 going down, each row is a new "look". If I did it by pink, then blue, or whatever then when I wanted an ivory to go with my blue and a pink accent or somthing I'd have to pull out 3 different 15 pans, whereas this way I only need one! But that's just easier for me, everybody has there own way that works for them.

I guess I'm the oddball here. I have 3 palettes. 1 is all regular colors and arranged light to dark. The other 2 are all LE colors and arranged by the order of the collections release.
I remove the label and place them each on the inside of the palette. On the bottom of each palette is a little pic of all the contents, so that I can reconize them easily without opening everything.

i can't seem to decide how i want to arrange mine. i have one pallette seperate for limited editions and pro colors -- although eventually, i want all the pro shadows, so that will be one pallette. i had the rest separated into a warm pallette and a cool pallete, but the i bought a couple new colors and had to reorganize. it's difficult, because i could fill an entire 15-pan pallette with just neutrals! oh, and i label mine with one of the old-fashioned labelmakers...
