How similar are....

...Gold Dusk and Spring up? I'm particularly interested in the differences, if there are any? TIA!

Gold Dusk and Spring Up are similar.... but I love Gold Dusk much more!
Gold Dusk is more highly reflective, brighter, more stand out than Spring Up. Spring Up is a frost, but is more muted than the G.D. pigment. It looks powdery in comparison. I love Spring Up as a nice neutral brow bone color. I use Gold Dusk everywhere! If you don't have either of these yet I would try to find Gold Dusk before it's all gone! my counter "sold out" but miraculously had it again last week.

Thank you for the good explanation of differences in finish - what about the colour? In pics, Gold Dusk looks a bit lighter and cooler, more pastel- is that true irl?

yes. G.D. is a tad lighter/brighter. spring up is a little more yellow. but next to each other on my hand they are very close.

I would agree with the above posts. I actually was playing with Gold Dusk and Spring Up last night. Spring Up is a powdery soft yellow. It has some gold shimmer to it but it's kind of subtle depending on the light. Gold Dusk is a more virbrant color. It is a pale yellow with a greater shimmer. It also has a few other colors reflected in it. I see a little green reflect in mine.

Agree with the above and I would add that Spring Up is more a pale buttercup yellow that I don't really see much frosty-ness with once it's on, Gold Dusk is definitly more shimmery and although not a true gold it's not so yellow either. I love both!

Hi, I took a couple of swatches so you can see the differences.

I am a real fan of both Spring up, and Gold Dusk. But they are surprisingly different.
