I love this look and I think it will look really good on my blue eyes.

Could someone please tell me how to get this look? I tried it with random brown shadows but it didn't come out well... Could someone suggest colors and techniques for me please?

honestly I'm nowhere near an expert so I'd just use a brown eye khohl and blushbaby blush.. I cant line my waterline like that.. it smudges so badly.

Hey! I'll try to help though i wouldn't be able to recommend specific products. I think that look is all about the eyeliner and using it effectively to create a smudged but clean look.

You will need:
*3 (or 4 depending how dark you want the overal look to be) eye shadows in the same tonal shade. eg. Light apricot, medium apricot and a dark brown with warmth to it.
*Liquid eyeliner
*Highlighter for inner corners and brow bone
*Choice of blush (probably a light peach)
*Choice of lippy/gloss in a neutral colour

I'd start with mixing some illuminator in with my foundation.

For the eyes I'd probably start with a neautral golden colour all over my lid. I'd sweep that under the eye area too because shadow will be applied along the bottom lashline aswel.

Then i'd choose a Medium apricot/gold colour. (it is up to you what shades you have availble ie. golden, apricot, bronze eg. Just make sure it is all in the same tone) Apply it below the crease ( you could go slightly above the crease if you like) on the lid and extending outwards to form a light V. Apply it under your eyes too, along the lashline (you can see hilary has done this underneath the dark shadow)

I'd then do my V with an even darker colour of the same tone (hilary looks like she has used a dark brown shadow here with a slight warm shimmer) Experiment with how high, low, wide etc you want the V, Hilary's seems to be fairly low and wide (extending outwards like a cat eye!)

Next i would use a liquid eyeliner (you could use a pencil but i think the liquid it what gives hilary's smokey eye a clean look) and line the whole way around the eyes as close as possible to the lashes. It shouldn't look like you are obviously wearing liquid eyeliner.

Apply shimmer to the inner corners of your eyes before the next step or it will get all messy if u do it reversed.

I would then use a black pencil to do my waterlines. Top and bottom and line around the inside corners. (where you just put the shimmer)

Now the fun part! Get a really dark shadow. You could use the same you used for the V. With a hard brush or smudgy tool line all the way around your eyes with the shadow blending outwards and upwards as you go. I think it would look the best if you just keep it fairly close to wear the liquid eyeliner is applied.

Next get a small fluffy brush to blend the whole eye area, especially the V. If the V is too pronounced compared with the rest of the lid then you could use the same shadow you applied to the lid ( medium warm shade) and deepen the colour on the lid so it blends better.

Apply some gold shimmer along the brow.

Choose neutral cheek colour and lipstick/gloss in the same tonal catagory.

Hope my response wasn't completely useless! Goodluck. x
