How to sharpen soft e/l ???

Hey everyone .......

OK i absolutly LOVE my feline kohl power but i can not get it to a point when i sharpen it!!! drives me crazy becaue the damn tip keeps breaking off!! if anyone has any tips please share..........thanks!

try popping it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. That should firm it up. Then sharpen it.

I have had no trouble with MAC pencil sharpeners, and believe me, I sharpen Feline sooo much!

are you using a high quality sharpener, like MAC? because i use to have trouble with my cheap drugstore sharpener, but now that i have a MAC one it works like a dream

That's really odd to me. I had the exact opposite problem. I purchased a MAC sharpener for my beloved Feline and it didn't get it sharp enough! My cheapo one works like a charm LOL

crazy...maybe i was pushing the pencil to hard with my cheapo sharpener...lol

The MAC sharpener is the only one I've used since I've tried it. So much better than the cheap ones!!!

whats the difference btwn feline and smolder? if anyone can answer that for me...And i agree after buying a better sharper i have less breaks on the point...

Smolder is MAC's standard permanent black eye kohl, which gives a deep smudgeable line.

Feline is MAC's limited edition black eye kohl called "Kohl Power". The Kohl Powers contain carbon, which gives them a much much richer black base (compared to other MAC pencils), as well as a very emollient creamy texture. They also have great staying power, but can smudge alot, so some people disliked that aspect. As for me it is my FAVORITE pencil ever.

I have like, 7 backups.

Both can and are intended for use on the waterline.

My cheap DS sharpener works fine for my pencils...and my kohl liners...I have the MAC sharpener but I reach for the cheapo one more...

I have this problem with my pearlglide liners and i have a mac sharpener. Def doesnt work. Ive pretty much ruined them.

Pop them in the fridge to firm up first.

I use the NARS sharpener for everything and it's unreal. The Rolls Royce of sharpeners for sure.
