i bought my first shadestick last week and am having a hard time with it. i'm always trying to do black in the crease with a light color on the lid and make such a mess with it. i thought this would help, but it doesn't glide on very smoothly. any suggestions??

i always put prep+prime before i put on s/s never have a problem with it skipping... but i never ever tried putting it in tht crease i can def. see it making a mess... if anything put a little on at a time and use a brush to smooth it out...

what i do, which wastes it, but i dont them often is either push really hard down onto a piece of fabric or break off a tiny piece.
use your finger to mash it, and make it flat and warm(so it falls apart easily).
dip your brush in mixing medium gel, and then put it in the shadestick "pile"
works wonders.
makes the colors more vibrant also.

I think it makes a hott thick top liner.. Just for those easy going days. Just put it on your lid and stop at the crease line, and just leave it alone.
