HELP!!

I have both of these loose powders but I haven't perfected how to use them!! Any tips/advice???

The Silver Dusk is what most concerns me, I'm an NC43 and I applied it with my Kabuki brush- It just looked like white powder on my face!!!!!! Oops...maybe i'm using too much or applying with the wrong brush????

I have both & use them as highlighters. Try using the MAC 188 brush, it doesn't pick up too much product & easily blends into your skin w/o giving too harsh of a look. HTH!

golden bronze might look nicer with your skin tone.

Silver Dusk is gorgeous as a highlight, it's not ment to be applied all over your face. It's TO DIE FOR when you use it as a highlight. Golden Bronze is gorgeous to mix with your foundation. It gives you a really nice glow.

I have both also. Silver Dusk is tricky because it's kind of sheer. It doesn't have the same opacity and color density of Golden Bronze. Try using it wet for more of a pop. I would recommend using it as a highlight as well. A MA gave me a great suggestion, which I would never have thought of myself. Mix them together! You can play with the ratios but a simple half and half mixture is REALLY pretty.

You're welcome.

I also meant to mention using a different brush. I am obsessed with using the 109 for cheek highlights and blush. I like a brush that applies color precisely and then you can blend or buff the color out from there if you choose. So, try a few different brushes to see what you like. You can even use an eyeshadow brush, such as the 224, to apply the highlight. Good luck.

You can also mix golden bronze & silver dusk together, to give you a lighter bronze shade. I do that, or I use silver dusk over a blush for a glowy finish.

I second the use of the 109 brush....it seems to be the best (fluffy, but dense enough to blend) becuase if you put too much on, you can end up with a big mess all over your face.

Silver dusk is my highlight (almost every day), Golden bronze is my blush or contour (sometimes). You may also want to try mixing it w/ Fix+ & spraying it all over for a bit of a "glow".

Again, a great idea. I would never have thought of mixing either Golden Bronze or Silver Dusk with Fix+ and spraying it. I love it!
