Hump day rut.

I seem to be stuck and unable to come up with anything creative with my makeup. Plus this was much more subtle and muted than I wanted it to be. Bleh.

I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions. Unfortunately I don't have a ton of time in the mornings so two or three colors is all I manage. Ho hum

Face: Olay Complete, Monistat Soothing powder-gel, MAD Minerals light concealer and light golden foundation, EDM snooze bar blush, MAD transluscent veil powder

Eyes: Archetype Minerals Autumn and Death Cap shadows, MAD Solitude and MAC Retrospeck, MAD indelible gel liner in Chocolate Mousse and CG LashBlast mascara

Lips: Rimmel Vinyl Lip in Mmmm!

I've you're struggling with your creativity, try the grab-bag method.

Close your eyes and pick two (or three) colors at random. Then choose an appropriate highlight, liner, etc. It's fun and challenging, and you'd be surprised at the ideas it can actually spawn in your head!!

Great eye color on you! I get in a rut myself from time to time. That's when I try to pick colors I don't wear too often. I also will choose different colored eyeliner or not wear it at all, which is very rare. Sometimes you just want to look different.
