i want to buy some
but my last mac foundation i bought...was rubbish
didnt stay on
didnt cover
it just failed me completely
and the was the select spf 15 foundation.

ive heard hyper real has like a shimmer in it??

It's dewy and has medium coverage. It has a subtle shimmer in it.

I love it! The shimmer isn't too overwhelming, it gives the perfect "glow". It's a built in highlight basically. I find the coverage to be pretty buildable as well. HTH!

Totally agree with hot*pink. It is buildable coverage, but I recommend using a primer first if you're not getting the staying power you want. Also recommend doing concealer first since HR is slightly shimmery (and you don't want to lose that effect). To finish the look try MSF powder in light, med, or dark depending on your skintone (you don't get as 'powdery' of a look, and they don't add shimmer so you don't end up looking like a greasy disco ball). HTH!

I also love this foundation! I find it that it's gives that dewy effect but it's not greasy. I actually find it a bit matte but it just happens to have that shimmer/dewy thing going on. The coverage is actually better than the select spf if you asked me. My only complaints are that there is a lack of suitable shades and my shade runs more on the pink side. I wish the shade had a bit more golden to it cuz if it did, it would be perfect!
From the FOTDs I've seen of you, I think this would suit you perfectly!

I love the Hyper Real! Can't live without it! I'm lucky enough to have the nw200 melting right into my skintone. This foundation is so easy to use, because it just glides on and melts in, I never had that before with foundations. Afterwards, you don't feel it anymore. It doesn't make a discoball out of you as many say, but I would't layer it for coverage. If I have something to cover, I do it first, with my moisturecover concealer.

I have it too and I love it! It makes my skin look flawless. I do like to mix it with a tinted moisturizer though just because I find the HR to be a bit thick in consistency.

It's not for everyone. It made me look very old and very shiny.
