Hyperpigmentation woes.

I've tried everything, I've tried every affordable brand of foundation and concealer but I just can't find anything that covers my hyper-pigmentation. After years of no luck I resolved to shell out money for the Bare minerals concealer and foundation, the foundation made the clear areas of my skin looks great but it makes the dark areas amplify and when I used the concealer it just makes my pores looks larger and extremely noticeable.

I have very oily acne prone skin and I live in Florida, and that's why I turned to Bare minerals. Is there any other makeup brand that works with the Bare minerals line? I want to look presentable for interviews but I can't just shell out for brand name concealer and waste gas on constant trips to Saphora or Ulta only to find the samples they give me wont work. Is there any specific brand that's full proof to work on darker complexions ( Golden, olive toned skin) or a color corrector that may work?

Thank you to anyone that gives their suggestions.

Hi,
I'm not sure how severe your hyperpigmentation is but I have some as well and I've been using AVON Banishing cream with great results. It has really lessened the appearance and have helped to even out my complexion. However, this is after months of use.

I'm not sure how light/dark your complexion is but for a concealer, i have been using IT Cosmetics Bye Bye UnderEye concealer and honestly it works great at cover up marks and scars. It can be pricing ($29) and you can buy it through QVC but it comes in a good sized tube and a little goes a long way.

Hope this is helpful...

Avon offer several products for pigmentation issues- Absolute Even Multi-Tone Corrector (that is a face product they also have a hand cream) It targets 7 discoloration concerns like shallowness, acne scars, freckles (aww I love freckles) age spots, uneven skin tone, red blotchy spots, brown patches. it is apart of their Anew Line. I also heard great things about the Banishing Cream and it more affordable. I LOVE Avon skin care. Avon has other products that will help but those I listed will probably help you the most.

I have this problem with my mouth area. NO concealer, no matter how pigmented, covers up the darkness on my top lip that looks like a mustache. At least, not on its own. I've found using a peach/orange color corrector, then applying concealer helps significantly. Not perfect, but much better. I use NYX's Concealer In A Jar in Orange.
