Hyperreal application?...

I have a bottle of this stuff and can never apply it right (hyperreal foundation NC100).

Is it best to use fingers, brush, or sponge for its application?
And do you think that blushcreme or powder blush looks best with it?
I was wondering because I feel like blushcreme is harder to apply over this more slippery foundation.

I use a clean, dry foundation brush and get a really smooth and polished application from that.
If the brush has any residue on the bristles it tends to create drag marks through the sparkles, similar to the odd swirling effect you get if you try to apply it with a 188 or 187. I tend to find sponges drag the liquid too much and it can cause a pooling effect.

When MAC Hyperreal Foundation was re-released, it was displayed with the 192 brush. I bought this brush to use with it, and I must say that it does a pretty good job since it doesn't absorb the foundation like a natural bristle brush or a sponge would. If too much product is absorbed, like lara mentioned above, weird stuff happens with it. I find that this brush spreads the product well, with no separation of the shimmer and cover. Other people have also used this brush for applying products like cream blushers as well. HTH!
