I Became the ICE QUEEN last night....:D

I was so upset last night because of this horrid storm that was supposed to be hitting today which would foil my plans to go to the first showing of Narnia.

I could not sleep, so I decided to become the ICE QUEEN.....

A fantasy photo shoot in the middle of the night- why not?

My DH got up to go to the bathroom and kept looking at me trying to focus, like he was not sure if he was dreaming.

I LOVED the movie, but the only thing that frustrated me was that they did almost NOTHING with the Ice Queen's makeup!!!!

The final scene they did with her they FINALLY did something relatively interesting, but the makeup artist was really boring. I mean REALLY boring.

I understand that they had to keep it on the simple side due to the extended filming in different locations so reiterating it over and over had to be simple, but still they did almost NOTHING!

DH sure is a great sport. I had the hair plopped on his head while I tried to find an appropriate crown jewel- he kept snoring, it was so funny.

The movie was excellent (except for the lousy makeup job on the Ice Queen--seriously. All they did for the first of three costumes was to smear her face with white pearlized foundation. Not a whole lot else, other than glue white specs to her lashes. ) !

I am so glad we saw it at the first showing today. It was well worth it.
