Ladies and Gents, I've got problems.

First, my eyes. I adore the colour of my eyes. The things is, my eyes are extremely sensitive to light. On a cloudy day I have to wear sunglasses. They get so red and watery and I'm always tugging at them to wipe away tears which causes fine lines to appear. I've tried wearing my makeup differently, I've tried skipping out on makeup and just leaving my eyes alone, but I get the same problem every time. I've got these terrible lines around my eyes, they're swollen and I look a bit high. How can I fix this?

Secondly, I get really red around my nose and I've got these terrible lines. They're like laugh lines, but weirder. (I'm 15, keep this in mind!) I hate having such clear skin, a nice complexion and then BAM red skin. What can I do?!!!

Finally, my skin is oily. I can't wear makeup too long. It's really gross. I want all the oil to go away. I want to be able to wear makeup without it comming off.

This is bothering me to no end. I've tried all sorts of makeup. It's gotten to the point where I'm considering seeking the help of a dermatologist.

Help me please!

Hi, Julia. I have symptoms like yours in my eyes. My eye doctor told me that I had dry eye. Basically, the eyes did not produce enough natural tears to remove irratants and keep a comfortable balance of moisture. The dryness can actually cause the eyes to overcompensate for the lack of moisture, therefore they will become extremely watery. Mine are also very sensitive to sunlight. I wear sunglasses when it rains. It gets worse during allergy season too.
My have gotten better since I told the doctor about it. First I switched to a different type of contact lense that hold more moisture. I also use an eyedrop that was prescribed to me, and no longer take decongestant type meds, as they make the drying worse. It's really improved alot since I started doing these things.
Definately see an eye doctor and let them know how your eyes feel. Hopefully, they can help you too.
