So I work for the Estee Lauder Bureau in London, where it's sort of like agency work in that you are flexible but not under any obligation to work if you can't. I work for all the brands that fall under the Estee Lauder umbrella (Estee Lauder, Clinique, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Stila, Origins, Prescriptives, Creme De La Mer, Aveda, Jo Malone etc) and go out to different department stores and freestanding stores when i'm needed.
Anyways, so I attended a Prescriptives training today and when I went up to speak to the ladies at the Bureau they asked me if I would be interested in doing a MAC training! Ofcourse I was like HELL YEAH!
They said it would be a 5 day intensive training course including everything and they also mentioned that once I was trained that usually MAC go on to offer permanent positions at a counter or store. I'm so excited!
Has anyone that works or has worked for MAC done this training? Is it really good? I've already worked a couple of times at the counters without training cos I know so much about the products and I have so much fun, and I really hope that once i'm trained that I get offered a permanent position cos that would be riiiight up my alley!
