I think I heard something about one being called Blushcremes or something?? Anyways, they were all blush creme, obviously! I don't anything more, but there was a post up here talking about it. Question: How do they get your address for the mailing lists?? I'm registered at MAC with my address but have never gotten anything. ??

I didn't get mine in the mail...I stopped by MAC today to pick up the last couple of Coco pigments to sell on ebay, and the MA gave me the card.

But I do get cards in the mail, too...hmmm...have you ever had a makeover there? It seems I began getting cards in the mail after my first makeover.

Really? I never thought about that being a bad thing. It's just a business decision. There's a demand with a smallish supply. :::shrug:::

I've paid 30 bucks for a MAC lipstick on ebay before because I couldn't find it anywhere else...and I didn't mind...I was just happy to find it.

Pretty sure that one is the face/highlighter products and the other is the "colour" collection, if that makes sense. I've seen pics of the displays and thats how they are seperated..

I totally agree with you. It's a smart business choice, and it's not like you're forcing people to buy them, or charging $80 a jar or something. Hopefully. *laughs*

There is probably others girls in your city, that will ask about Coco at your counter... so you're not helping them. You decided to help others girls on Ebay, but you probably know how much profit you will make by selling it on Ebay. That's why I'm thinking it's bad. You doesn't really help someone, you just help yourself to make more money.

In some other cases, I might agree with you...
but those jars of coco (and deckchair) pigment were collecting dust on the counter for about 3 months before I decided to buy them. Obviously there wasn't much of a demand for them here, but there is a demand elsewhere.

Hhhm, I say, your not forcing them to buy it. Theres a want, and you found a way. There's nothing wrong with making a profit off that! it's called Capitalism baby!!! (Ok, sorry, just couldnt help myself.)
<3

Oh, about the postcards: When I lived at my old house I got a few but I've never had a like, "scheduled appt." I just assumed they got the info off my credit card. But now that I've moved (and bought stuff there since) I haven't gotten anything. It makes me kinda sad. :[

It's not?? Then why is there so much stuff up on ebay? And if its illegal then why doesnt MAC crack down on it? Obviously alot of SAs sell stuff on Ebay. I personally just dont see if a problem if the seller has a product to offer, and the buyer wants it, and everyone agrees.. whats the big deal?

BTW, I'm not trying to be argumentitive or anything, I just had to ask.

Whenever it is reported to them, they do. I know a MA that was fired because she sold stuff on ebay

BarbieDoll; By selling MAC products, you are not selling products from your business, but from another business, I don't think it's something legal.

It is perfectly legal to buy MAC or most anything and resell it for a profit. However, if you have a pro discount card, or are a MAC employee, selling products on ebay, or anywhere else for profit is a violation of your agreement with MAC, and they may suspend your discount. Or worse, if you work for them, you could be fired. There is nothing illegal or immoral about finding a HTF item at your counter or CCO, paying full price for it, and then reselling it. I've got several items I would have never found otherwise because of ebay.

Back to the topic... Daisy, could you scan a pic for us? I would really like to see the card. Thanks
