& i'm wondering if i brought my udpp is okay? i've tried MAC's eye prep's & they all crease in a few hours & i really want my makeup to stay put & not crease. udpp is the only thing i've found that works well. i know to go with a bare face, but yeah...

Just put it on before you go in... right before you leave for it. If the artist asks, tell them you prepped your eye prior to coming in.

Great idea.

I'd say still bring the bottle along in your purse/jacket/etc just in case you have to re-apply it.

MAc paints applied properly will keep it fresh looking for days,.. the problem is most people use too much and then it creases. Shhhhhh,.. I don't like to admit that I have left it on that long but there was an all weekend party and when I left,.. yep,.. still going strong.

you could call ahead and ask if they could use udpp which you bring, however i wouldn't be surprised if they said no. purely because if another customer saw them using a non mac product in the store (not sure if you get a private rom for the make over) it gives the wrong impression.

mac has their own eye primer and if you request they use paint rather than a paint pot as a base you'll be fine. paint pots crease slightly on my oily lids but paints never have!

i've tried a paintpot before with no such luck. i was thinking maybe bringing it then, going to the bathroom prior to the appointment & apply it.

Primer doesn't really work that great on me...it's vibrant but doesn't stay on very long...smudges for some reason. I had UDPP before but for some reason, mine was oily?

I personally think paints are a lot longer lasting and more "Sturdy" than paint pots. They dry to a powder finish, then those suckers are going nowhere.

You could apply UDPP before you go, but the MA may wipe your face clean to start with a fresh canvas & get rid of any oils/dirt picked up from outside on your way there.

UDPP does work well. I use it all the time. Have you tried Mac Painterly Paintpot? It works fab!
