What's the best eyeshadow brush? I don't know when I'll have the money to buy all this stuff but it sure is fun getting prepared!

I don't know how to do all the fancy stuff most of the ladies on here so I just need a basic brush. Thanks!

Do you just want a straight-up shader brush? I like MAC's 239 shader brush, I can normally get it to blend colours together very well too. I've had mine for 4 years and it's still in mint condition...I don't mind paying for a good brush if it's going to last me this long. If you need something a bit smaller (depending on the size of your eye), the 231 is good. It REALLY packs on the colour too. But from the sounds of things, you just want a basic eyeshadow brush, so I think the 239 would be the best.

Now, when it says "emollient-based products", does that include their Cream Colour Base?

I really like the 239! And, if you are really not sure, you can look at the brushes on MAC's site, and then take a trip to your craft store and try a few for a few dollars a brush! HTHS!

It's not mac.. but try the Essence of Beauty brushes. They're very affordable and you can buy a few for the cost of just one MAC brush.

But for MAC eye brushes I definitelly like the 239 as an all-around brush.
