i just depanned my first quad!

i was reading the how-to on depanning premade quads last night and i finally just got through with depanning one. i took the well-plumed quad and depanned that sucker. made a huge gauge in the espresso shadow, but thats okay, its not one i really use alot. i also kinda broke part of the exacto-knife. but they are cheap. now i have to go and get some 15 pan palettes and start depanning and depotting everything else. i think that these can be used towards back2mac, the empty quads i mean.

i am so happy that i finally did it.

i did 3 for the first time last night too.

i depanned both diana ross and sweetie cakes. bought them way before i started working for mac and never used them. i kept the colors i like, and sending the others to my sister. i like all my other premade quads just the way they are so i am not touching those puppies!

you can use the empty quads for b2m btw.

i really just want to make some more room in my storage units so i was thinking if i just depanned all the premade quads and b2med them, it would benefit me doubly. one i will free up some more of the premade ones and also i would be getting some free stuff out of the deal as well. i am going to keep the empty quads that i bought empty from the store because there is nothing wrong with them, but like you said, you only kept the colors that you liked and gave the others away. i might do that or sell/swap them here on specktra.

there isn't anything wrong with the quads themselves after i depotted them. you can still use them just like the store bought ones. even tho the shadows are glued in, they are still magnetic.

i know, but if i can use them towards back 2 mac than that is what i would rather use them for then keep them. im kinda weird like that.

i just depanned two more quads that i really dont care about too much and depotted three shadows just to try it out. i used my flat iron and that worked so well, i think i will be using that every single time.
