Hi y'all

(I just saw this emoticon and thought it was hilarious)

Please tell me what you think of my foundation color, I'm trying out some new mineral makeup samples, so far this is my favorite.

I've been out of town for a bit over the holiday, and busy playing catch-up this week. I bought four of the HIP pigments on BOGO and I've been trying them out, so far I'm not too impressed. I certainly wouldn't buy these at full price, the color payoff is poor. They're nice if you like more subtle color but I can't seem to get the intensity I like with them.

Anyway, here's my FOTD

Face: Olay Complete moisturizer, Meow Minerals 0-inquisitive angora concealer, 2- frisky manx purrfect puss foundation and Primp & Preen Crystalline Cat Glow powder (yes they have dorky names, but the products are really good, first time I've been able to get away with no primer and my face doesn't itch). Everyday Minerals Snooze Bar blush

Eyes: MAC Painterly paintpot, L'Oreal HIP pigment in Tenacious (copper color), MAC e/s in Print, MAC Blitz & Glitz fluidline, Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo Boost mascara, Ulta e/s in Sparks in brows.

Lips: Ack, I forgot lippie again. d'oh!

Wow, you're right, it does look great on you! I got a bluish-lavender one, copper, lime green and fuschia. So far I've tried the bluish-lavender and copper and I just can't seem to get the color payoff. I've used UDPP and Bare Study as primers. Maybe if I put them on wet I'd get more color. Probably has a lot to do with my horribly dry skin, everything just wants to fall off my face.

if you have a liquid foundation.
use that as a base

or wet the brushes

i went my mini liner brush that came with the cream liners to line my lid with the pigment and it lasted all day

good luck and i hope it turns out great for you

Love the copper color on you...
You could make the dark shade even more intensively, also under the eye
