I lost one of my best buddies this morning

My Blue Crown Conure, Beavis, passed sometime this morning. Beavis was my best friend when I felt very alone as a young person. My parents bought her for me when I was 12 years old and she was 2-3 months old, I finished hand feeding her. Beavis was a faithful partner in my life for 15 years and it's very difficult for me to lose her.

I feel like I took for granted that she would be there for me always. While I accept mortality and the fact that life is basically a sequence of events until our times comes it just doesn't make this any easier to accept.

very sorry to hear about the loss of your pet, Beavis. it's never easy to lose a member of your family. i lost my kitty of 17 years more than 6 years ago, and i still think about him. she will always be with you.
