okay so i was cleaning out my traincase today... and is it just me or is gorgeous gold eyeshadow on the green side? like it has a green tint or something. i never noticed it before... did any of you guys notice?

Hmm.. I find mine to be more of a bright yellow with a shimmer. I suppose, depending on the way you look at it, it could have a light green hue to it.

yes! I noticed it has green reflects.. i guess you'll have to turn to pigments to get a true gold e/s.

yes, its part green. Goldmine is gold gold

Yup, I never noticed it in the pot, but it goes green on my lids.

Me too! In pics on everyone, it always looks so bright and yellow, I thought I was a freak when it turned greenish on me *L*

When i was buying a gold shadow i compared this next to goldmine - definitely a green hue!

I have never bought that eyeshadow for that very reason! It just has an (in my opinion) ugly greenish tinge to it. I wish they made a pure gold eye shadow. Cuz i just don't really like pigments. Too messy and they look uneven on me.

Yep, definitly a greenish yellow cast to it. Which of course, looks horrid on me

yeah, I bought gorgeous gold to pair with swimming when I first got into MAC. Its some of the only green I use, since I have green eyes.

I know what you mean! I was playing with Gorgeous Gold on my hand, and the MAC chick thought I had been playing with Juxt!

Funny you just posted this. I had a customer just yesterday ask me if she was seeing things or did the gorgeous gold look slightly green?

This reminds me of how I seem to be the only person that sees the slight green duochrome effect on Beautiful Iris. No, I swear it's there, that's what makes it so nice.

Looked like GG does in the pics, haven't even seen it in real life.
