I need a little help.. what would YOU get?!

Ok, so I have 100 dollars that I can spend on Pro or regular items, and I am just looking for a little advice! I would like to stay away from liners, foundations, and mascaras. Basically, leaving eyeshadows and brushes primarily.

I am NC15 with shoulder length black hair. Just to give you a brief overview I enjoy bright colors and love smoking them out, I have mainly a broad spectrum of shadows but not many neutrals. I am thinking some nice neutral brown/oranges, Electra possibly, Henna, Goldmine or Gorgeous Gold, and Humid.

As far as Eye Brushes I have:
210
217
219
224 (this was given to me and is in semi crappy condition, I am contemplating replacing it)
228
239
A Loew Cornell that is close to the 227
And a A Loew Cornell that is close to the 239 (backup)

As far as Face brushes I have:

168
181

Any suggestions? Must haves? Lets go crazy girls! Should I get vanilla piggie?

^^^ I would get a eye pencil in 'pale yellow' for your water line (it's a Pro item)

MAC PRO | Eye Pencil

great for making your eyes look more 'open' if you like to do smokey eyes
the effect is softer than using a white eyeliner which can sometimes come off a bit stark

oh and def get Vanilla piggie for sure! You won't regret it!

have fun hauling!

as far as brushes go, for me the 109 is a neccesity! it's amazing for foundation, blush, highlighting, etc etc. i noticed you said you like bright colors, do you have freshwater? it's an amazing bright blue. i know for me it's a huge must have! gorgeous gold is an amazing color. henna is too, i just got it recently with the bbr collection.

also have you tried any paint pots? they can be a lot of fun.

good luck!

Electra and Humid are both gorgeous. I love them dearly! A good pro colour shadow is Indian Ink - it's a lovely matte dark purple. Always good for purple smoke! If you don't have Carbon, you absolutely should. No smoky eye fan should be without! I'm not much for neutrals, but Sable (plum-toned brown) is nice. Copperplate is a great shade, too, being a matte grey taupe. My favourite shadow that I abuse to death is Blanc Type; it's a wonderful matte highlight shade for pale skin, and can work as a lid shade, too.

Vanilla pigment is ok, but not super exciting if you ask me. Why not see if you can just get a sample of it to start with? Pigments are expensive, too. Probably the best way to get the most for your money would be to get a 15 pan palette and a bunch of propan eyeshadows.

As for neutrals, remember it doesn't necessarily mean you have to go to browns! You can do greys, taupes, or if the concern is about being office-friendly, etc, soft colours like Shale or Girlie. It all depends on how you use them.

i would reccomend melon pigment because its a gorgeous colour and one that u can use for day or night time looks so is worth investing in.a ccb is a must aswell because they are very versatile. i know u dnt want liners but penultimate is a must if you do change ur mind. deep truth is also a great colour because you can do a smokey eye with a twist. also if u want a shimmery highlight then try nylon.

u didnt mention lipsticks but have a look at the slimshines and creme d'nude cremesheen because they are gorgeous aswell!

vanilla is a must! also electra n gorgeous gold. goldmine is a really intense and warm gold so u may not like it on lighter skin but since u have black hair it might actually look pretty! also look at dazzlelight, satin taupe, and carbon for a sexy, smokey eye!

you need to get humid as it's amazing! sometimes i use it in the crease or sometimes all over the lid. it's great!

i also reccomend club eyeshadow - it's a browny green and again can be used on the lid or in the crease and is generally very cool!

as far as pigment go (you didn't mention them but will rec anyways!) my faves are old gold (amazing with teal colours), violet(very pretty purple which can be used as lid colour or eyeliner) and cornflower(an amazing bluey purple!)

oh and check out the glitters at the pro store! the glitters are amazing and i end up buying some every time i go to the london pro store as it's rare when tehy're relased with normal collections!
