I need an eyeliner rec

I am looking for an under eye liner that is brown/black that will STAY PUT yet go on easily/not pull at my eye when I apply it. I apply it just along the lower lashline, not too thick, then go over it with brownish blck shadow to help it stay put. I usually use kohl pencil but am open to any recs! Applying shadow only, w/ no liner underneath doesn't quite do it for me. Thanks!

Second these, sounds like it would work perfectly for you! I recommend the shade Bourbon for something blackish-brown, it's got a sort of slight goldy-tone to it that really makes it seem different.

I like MAC technakohl, it stays put all day aswell

the only thing I don't like about it is that you can't sharpen it...

imo kohls don't last long at all so maybe try switching to a pencil that isn't a kohl liner. i use revlon's colorstay [automatic] eyeliner and i brush some powdered shadow on top to make it stay and it works really well! you could also try MAC fluidline =)

I love Smashbox's Cream Eyeliner in Midnight Brown, but I have to agree with the 24/7 pencils [they are really smooth].

I sharpen mine! I used to have a Revlon eyeliner (can't remember what it was called...they still make them though, and they looked similar to the technakohl) that had a little sharpened that came out when you pulled the end off. It was on the end that shows you what colour the liner is. But yeah, it pulls off and there's this little confusing-looking thing that you just stick the end of the liner into, and it makes it pointy again. I just kept it when I got rid of the Revlon stuff...which was ACTUALLY quite good.

I love smashbox liners but I find they smudge so easily (even the waterproof ones). However I have started mixing Cameo (Smashbox) with Blacktrack (MAC) and it give a beautiful colour that stays all day.
