i need some root lifting!

i need a good, volumizing root lifter. i never have a problem with adding volume to my hair (thank God for teasing!) but i can never get my roots to have ANY volume whatsoever, and that kind of ruins the rest of your hair's volume, because it looks funny when the rest of your hair looks all thick but the top of your head looks like you had a dictionary resting on it for 3 hours to flatten it out!

any product suggestions? or even ingredients to look for? TIA!

ive been using all the paul mitchelle volume products lately. ah i cant remember the exact names of them but ill get back to you on that.
