i need some shine

my hair used to be shiny but i've dyed it about 8 million times, so it's not shiny anymore. how do i get the shine back?

I know Clairol just came out with something called "Shine Happy." It brand new so you may not find it right away. I havent used it yet myself so I can't tell you how well it works. Also John Freida has something called color glaze which I think makes it shiny, but at the same time adds some color. hth

Bumble and bumble make a product called defrizz, but it does more than just defrizz it hads super high shine!

ARTec Shine and Frizz Repair is the best hair serum I've used that adds shine without my hair looking greas. It's kind of expensive but the bottle is huge and you only need about 3-4 drops for shiny hair.

Phyto has their Phytodefrisant (did I spell that right?) that adds a lot of shine, you can get it at Bath and Body Works. Biosilk sells a shine spray that's awesome.

Try Biosilk's spray shine stuff. I swear by it! Also try getting your hair deep conditioned cuz it will help.

Biolage makes a shine spray that I always sprayed on myself when I went into Beauty Express (never bought) and it worked amazingly. Seriously your hair instantly sparkles. Other than that, rinse your hair with cold water before getting out of the shower and blow dry on a cool setting?

Treat yourself to a tub of LUSH’s triple strength conditioner Retread. Also use Redken’s Glass smoothing serum, it helps to “kick-up the shine and flatten the fizz.” Glass can be applied to both wet and dry hair. My hair had the texture of dry straw before I started using these, now it’s as soft and fine as silk.

Oh, and lastly, only apply Retread to the most damaged areas and keep it away from scalp. It can be a bit steep but you only need a fingerfull of product for each application. When in doubt ask the friendly LUSH employees for advice.
