You wanna know something strange? Most Austrians have never seen the Sound of Music. I think everyone should see it. I watched it like crazy before I moved here because of the beautiful landscape.

I am not a musical fan (at all), but I freakin' love The Sound of Music. DH and I pretty much know all of the songs. It's pretty funny when DH (big, muscled dude) is singing "How do you solve a problem like Maria?"!!

My husband's Grandmother (who lives with us) and his Mother are both named Maria. We sing that song a lot when we are miffed at either one of them. What's the answer to that question anyway? J/k.

Great video! I love The Sound of Music - watched it every day for months when I was a kid. Some friends and I still get together now to watch the movie and sing along to all the songs. We even went to see the theatre production in London last year and sang to a little girl in the audience at the end! I need an intervention... lol
