Anyway I'm pretty sure I'm a NW 45 I have a friend a little darker than me and they said shes either a NW 45 or 50. So if I'm a little lighter I'd be 45 right? Also I know I'm not a NC

Honestly, if you want to get a proper match, I would go to MAC and have an artist match you in natural light. That way you will know for sure.

I agree. I once tried to match myself at a CCO and I ended up getting a shade too dark.

If you're a little bit lighter than your NW45 friend, you may want to ask a MAC Artist to try NW43 on you, but do make sure that you try before you buy

it also depends on the formula of foundation you're gonna choose. an nw45 isn't the same all across the board.
