I think my CHI just died :C

It started SMOKING, like out of the hole near the on/off switch this rancid smell and it was OFF! I was cleaning my ears and all of a sudden the smoke started coming out and it won't even turn on :C

Anyone know if there's a sale on them anywhere? :C I've had mine for 2 1/2 years... so lame.

Does anyone know if I may be able to get a replacement from a warranty or anything of the sort? The darned thing smells like burnt plastic @_@

aww that sucks! you can send it in to the chi manufacturer farouk, for like $30 bucks i think and they will fix it for you. the only bad thing is you will have to be without your chi for a couple of weeks. what i did was take the opportunity to replace my original chi with the super cute pink chi and then i sent in my old one so now, i have two chis!! hope this helps.
