i tried to recreate a look and failed and i need tips/encouragements lol

i tried recreating this look which seemed pretty simple :

and the attempt failed , like the colors just all blended in together , i don't know if i wasn't using the right colors, brushes , techniques ... but i really got pissed, i was going out so i didn't take it all off but it really put me down because i have spent so much in the last few weeks in brushes and make up to be able to recreate pretty looks and be as good as some of y'all ... i don't know any tips would help PLEASE i wanna be good at this

Hmm...well for that look there, it appears she has a light shade on the lid, deeper (maybe brown? hard to tell) in the crease, and a nice neutral brow bone.

For that, I'd use:
MAC's bare canvas paint as a base, Vanilla eyeshadow on the lid, and maybe embark or cork in the crease. If you do the crease color before you do the lid, it makes it easier to prevent the darker color smudging into the light. If you have a 217 brush, that would be good for softly applying the crease.

Impassioned LS! Vanilla or Nylon with some Gesso in corners.. some Cork or Corduroy for contour darkened with some black -- and yes, lots of blendng! Good luck

i have to try with boring drugstore products before i get my hands on the real goodies haha , so i used those brushes and what's circled are the es i used :
