I want a 187 1/2

Is it just me or is the 187 always too big and the 188 always too small? Especially for blush I find the 187 too big and the 188 is just not big enough.

I want a 187 1/2!!!

I actually love both the 187 and the 188 - I find the sizes perfect. I use the 187 for powder foundation and other powder applications for larger portions of the face, and the 188 for both cream and powder blushes.

However, if MAC made a 187.5 I've no doubt I would buy that too.

Love their duo fibre brushes!

I find that if you use a brush jacket on the brush it makes the 187 better for applying blush since the bristles become more compact. Or you can just hold it towards the top of the bristles when applying blush

See if you can get your hands on a Mac 131. It's a smaller, flatter version of the 187. You can apply cream blushes, powder products, foundation etc... It is just purrrrfect.

Ooh, I've ony used mine for powder blush..may have to try it for foundation

I have a nice duo fiber brush that is between the sizes of the 187 and 188. It is non-MAC and from Target however.

Agreed with the 131. Its the perfect size for cheeks and its shaped like a foundation brush. I use it with my F&B foundation. Give it a go if you can find one!

the 130 is coming out with the new mineral foundation and they both are AMAZING! trust me! I was playing with them at work yesterday the 130 kicks the 187 and 188's butts!

Can you describe the 130 to me? How is it compared to the 187 and 188 and 131? I really can't get a clear picture in my head about how it looks like.

What's the new mineral foundation?

Thanks. I read that Susanne said it was tiny. Smaller than the 188. Then it won't do. But the 131 sounds great!

I want a 130!!!!! The 131 is being repromoted with the To the Beach collection in May I believe.

I can't seem to get the 131 to work. I borrowed it from a friend, but I fin that it deposits a lot of colour. I like the transparent look, that 188 and 187 gives. How come I can't get the samme effect from 131?

Maybe you just put too much colour on the brush, because I have never had that problem (if anything, the opposite). It is technically the same bristles as a 187/188 just shaped different, so shouldn't be too much different?
