I want Skinfinishes!

Has anybody else who wants Skinfinishes not been able to have them yet for some reason?

I last visited my counter over a week ago and they didn't have them in then and now i can only get to my counter on the 18th and then won't be able to go again for ages so i'm worried that by then either they won't have them in still (i.e when i do get to go again ages after they'll all be gone for sure) or that they will already be sold out when i do go on 18th!
Aaaargh i really want them! I've never seen them or used them in real life but i've heard so many good things from you lot and they look great on people..i blame you all!

One of my MAC counters actually charges us for the items we put on hold -- so in essence, we pre-pay for them. I've done it a couple of times. Could you do that -- since you know you will buy thme anyway. It sucks to pay in advance (I'm all for instant gratification) but at least you guarantee having them!

I'm afraid i can't. I have cold cash to spend on them only. Is there any chance i can put them on hold and pay when i get there? If so how long will they hold them for?

Yes, I do that all the time @ my counter, but I'm always in there that day to pick them up.

lord I know how u feel..i want the skinfinishes as well..but of course i have no money so I have to wait untill I get paid next week..hopefully the counter i go to will still have them..*cries* please lord still have sterorose!!!!

Skinfinishes

I had a hard time finding the Metal Rock skinfinish--it was damn near sold out everywhere i NYC but finally found it at macys at 34th street of all places. 8)

I luckily got my Skin Finish Custom Purchased by a lovely canadian lady. It came yesterday morning and I am in love!! I got the Porcelain Pink one and it's an instant skin pick me up.

But Stereo Rose and Shimpagne are awesome and I use them almost daily.

Give a call to your counter(s) nearby and see if they'll hold them. SOMEONE has to be willing to hold them for you!

I have semi-good news, my bf is going to the city centre and said he'l get them for me if they're there!!!

But i don't know if they'll even have them in by then or if they're all gone...but i reeeealy reeealy hope they do. I'm gona feel so sick if i miss out on them!

That is so sweet of you, thankyou so much. But i'm afraid like i said i only have cash in hand to spend on Mac. That's just how i can buy Mac i'm afriad.

I've got to let him know which shades i want so i could use a little help in deciding as i've never seen them in person and obviously can't try them on my face which is annoying. I've seen excellent swatches of the shades but just want to figure out which would look natural and great on me. I'm a light brown Indian with yellow undertones and use NC43 Studio Tech. I was thinking So Ceylon and Stereo Rose? Gold Deposit and Metal Rock look awfully dark and obvious to me even if they were sheered out..hmm..
I'm actually not very sure about So Ceylon. What would really help me is pictures of people wearing them on their face but with more liberal application than normal so i could really see how it looks.

I went to my MAC counter yesterday and they have completely sold out. I was gutted, they only came out on thurs and sold out within 4 days. I really wanted shimpagne and stereo rose aswell and I bought the stippling brush for it too.poo

My bf has just got me a Stereo Rose!!!!

I'm in the UK and they only got them in 2 days ago and they're all sold out apart from Stereo Rose. They said they might get more in but can't say when..so maybe i'll be able to get So Ceylon next week.

Anyway i'm so happy to even have one!!

Am in the Uk too, and asked if they have completely sold out and the assisant said yes, Although I wasnt very sure if she knew for certain. I might ring up later to see if they will have anymore coming in. Would that make sense if they only had the one order of skinfinishes?

Oh btw how much are they sushi flower?

They're £16...he's just bought it an hour ago but i'm not going to meet him till next Thursday so i can't have it till then..i want it now!!

Where bouts are you in UK? My nearest Mac is in Leeds.

Hi, my nearest MAC is sheffield in meadowhall.Well theres only one counter in sheffield which probably explains why they all sold out within 4 days

Oh i've been to that one once. Well Leeds only have one aswell. I wish there were more Mac counters in UK! In Leeds city centre alone there is like 5 of Estee Lauder's, Lancome, Dior etc but Mac seems quite rare here.
