Hello all,

I have been directed to this site to learn - apparently you are the experts in make-up. I suck. I am incredibly successful at making myself uglier when I apply make-up. I am here for all your help so one day I am the make-up guru, glossy and stunning.

I look forward to the future of making myself pretty not ugly.

Welcome to Specktra, don't put yourself down like that, can definitely sympathise and I prefer to call people like us...'clumsy' with makeup, though practice on my part is seeing some improvement!

This is the single best resource out there for learning how to do your face like a master artiste. 8)

But I'll bet you don't really suck, you probably just don't have the right tools. My best tip would be to invest in some good, quality brushes. Those can make all the difference in the world, as the best MU can look like crap with the wrong tools.

I learned the most by studying the pics in the Tutorials and FOTD threads....HTH!
