If I Have Blitz&Glitz, Do I Need Nightfish?

Ok, I'm really on the fence with this one. I already have Blitz&Glitz and I rarely use it, but I do like it. I ordered Nightfish, but now I'm wondering if it is way to similar to Blitz&Glitz. I saw these swatches on MUA, but sometimes the lighiting and my computer monitor can make swatches decieving. In this pic Nightfish looks almost identical to B&G except for the gold flecks, which you can barely even notice once you line your eyes with it. I don't want to swatch Nightfish with my jar I purchased if I'm not going to keep it. I'm still waiting for my order to come anyways.

Here is the comparison pic from sdpfeiffy on MUA:

I dunno. I looked at it at the counter (in the containers because I was in a rush) and B&G is black with sparkles. Nightfish is clearly greyish brown.

I'd say keep it and try it once and if you don't care for it, sell it here.

I have Dipdown and Blitz & Glitz and I don't plan on getting it - if anything I'll get Blacktrack at some point.

if anything, I think Nightfish looks like a dark grey, nto black, it's really a soft color, and I think it will be great for cheating on a smokey eye look.

Its nothing spectacular though, so if there's something else that you want, I think you could easily live without.

Nightfish didn't appeal to me. I was hoping for something...more. I swatched it and it was just a dull brown, not a rich dark chocolate brown, just bleh/meh/blah brown.
The swatch looks accurate to me.

i guess it all depends on what you are looking for. i personally wouldn't keep the nightfish because it's not appealing to me plus i like the glitzy stuff.

Nightfish... I love Nightfish but next to the lovely shiny Lure shadows and fluidliners it looks really bleah on counter. I feel badly for it! Blacktrack and Blitz and Glitz are both too harsh on me... I don't do browns.. Nightfish looks just amazing.

I wouldn't get it, just because it looks way too similar to B&G, and even to Blacktrack. Doesn't seem worth it, IMO.

Actually, (and I may be in the minority here) but I thought it looked really close to Dipdown. I made sure to take a good look at it at the MAC counter, and it didn't impress me in the least...but that's just me

I was turned off completely when I first saw it, then I tried it on and I am very impressed with it- I LOVE it.

The other darks in the FL are too severe for pastels. Nightfish looks like black/brown mascara when you smear it on skin, but it makes awesome waterliner and goes beautifully with the brights and pastels of Lure and other pastels in other lines.

I love it and plan on getting another one.

Hmm, I'm really wondering what I should do now!!! I'm really pale (NC20) and I wore my Blitz&Glitz out last night and it made me look like death

. When I ordered it I was really hoping that Nightfish was going to be a dark grey, but it doesn't seem that way at all. I think I'll probably end up returning it, and now I'm having questions about haunting as well. Some people are saying it's too sheer to really be a liner.

Ahhhh what to do!?!?!

i'm also nc20. there's no prob for me w/t b&G, actually i love it.. so imo nightfish is not a must have..
for haunting, i'm absolutely no idea neither, i'm in love w/t this color, but it is too sheer to be a liner so i decide only to look at it &@#$%^ or use it as shadower alternately

i love Nightfish. i don't have B&G, but i do have Blacktrack, and i debated whether i needed Nightfish. i swatched both and also compared B&G and Dipdown. Nighfish is a "warm" black/brown -- when smudged, it appears browner rather than grey like Blacktrack does. it's just softer but not as dull as Dipdown. Nightfish did look similar to B&G, to me, minus the sparkles, of course, but not EXACTLY the same. personally, i still want B&G but i will probably hold off until i use up the Nightfish.

I have Dipdown, Blitz & Glitz and Blacktrack and decided not to get Nightfish and that it was not "different" enough. I did buy Haunting and Delphic so that made the decision not to buy easy.

I actually ended up returning Delphic and Haunting and keeping Nightfish! I found the other 2 to be too sheer as a liner, and I already have soo many bases. I LOVE Nightfish! I'm debating getting a backup of it! It's a nice soft black, it doesn't look brownish on me at all, it's perfect for me, cuz I'm so fair, and most black liners are just too harsh for me.

I'm so excited I got Nightfish!
