What if you were given a blank check to buy whatever makeup you wanted, at any price...but you could only buy 5 items total...What would you get?

I wonder if I would do anything "extravagant"...I would probably be too worried about liking something so much that I would get "addicted" to it at a high cost lol...

I would want to try out some items just to see what the fuss was about: a La Mer skin product, Petticoat or Perfect topping MSF (these are discontinued so to buy them/try them you have to pay ridiculous amounts sometimes...sight unseen for some of us). There are also a couple of Dior quads out right now, and a Lancome one...these are each about $50 dollars..Love them but you don't get a lot of product for the money (even though it's good quality, I can't justify that in my budget at the moment).

I would get some an expensive skin care regimine (sp?), YSL and Chanel lipglosses and lipsticks, Dior eyeshadows, Dior and Givenchy mascaras and Chanel foundation.

that is a VERY good question, lash extensions, chanel lipstick and lipglosses, prescriptives custom blend concealer and foundation, lancome mascaras, and givenchy quads (those things are pricey as hell but so silky smooth, i only have one in blue happiness)

Would a Clarisonic count? That would be at the top of my list! Then Geurlain quads and Dior quints, because they're gorgeous.I'd also love to try Chanel Vitalumiere foundation and one of their glosses.

I would buy MAC brushes. As much as I love MAC brushes it's hard for me to buy a $50 brush when I only have about 15 cents worth of makeup skills.

La Mer cream (god I wish I could afford it, it's amazing) and really good makeup brushes.
Or maybe just a load of backups of some HG never-ever-found MAC products that I love... ;D

Well, if not, I'd want a MUFE Flashbox Paint set and I'm not sure what else. Maybe some Illamasqua Rich Fluid Foundation, and I've got a hankerin to try the La Mar Creme too.

but i guess i would have to say:
1&2) two of the Givenchy mascaras (like you said, it would be hard to get an "extravagant" item then become addicted but knowing you couldn't afford it again, so i'm going to have that base covered, lol)
3) probably a Philosophy lotion just so i can know what it's like to use $20+ lotion
4) a red Chanel lipstick, and...
5) track down that LE MUFE eyeshadow palette and get that, lol
