If you go on the website and try typing different words like powder and eye into the search box for Goodbyes, some products from collections like Barbie, Raquel Welch, and Balloonacy show up and below it is a box that shows the new replacement (or closest thing) to that product.

Anyway, I'm sure a lot of you know this, and I know some of us have already found replacements for older products, but for those who don't, this is a nice little way to be able to see what new things you could buy to recreate older looks, or to get your own copy of an old must have.

P.S. They dont have "replacements" for every product

(edit* I also noticed that some of the "replacements" aren't even of the same type of product ex:suggesting a lipglass for an e/s replacement lol, but some of the suggestions are good)

Powder, eye, lip, nail, gloss, shine, sheer, cream, and liner are words I used and got a lot of results

Thanks! I didn't even know this, I haven't done much exploring on the new site. It freezes my computer up constantly and meh I honestly don't like it too much.

Yeah it is kind of annoying. Every time I try to search a product name nothing shows up but all of the "shop products" categories. Grrr...

If you search the Discontinued products section on the site it will give you the same info - it has an extensive list of Dcd products and their comparable replacements

where replacements arent noted you can link to talk someone for suggestions

I know it was just so confusing when I went on it. I was just like uhhh how do I get to this and that section? And I'd just kept clicking random links hoping to get where I needed to get to hahaha. I've actually been avoiding going on there cause I just don't want my computer to all of the sudden come to a sudden halt and stop working grrr

! It's already been giving me problems, dont need anymore lol.

You wouldn't believe it! I was searching Playful eyshadow (from the Barbie Loves MAC collection) and I found some LE eyeshadows!!! It's so amazing!!!!!

Glam-Yeah see what I mean? I don't know if they intended for that kind of stuff to happen, but if it is some kind of glitch I'm happy as hell its there haha

4bidden-Haha I know what you mean! I did the same thing when I first went on the new site but I got used to it after a while lol

Blush-That sucks! But you know what, my boyfriend is somewhat of a tech nerd so he told me that internet explorer and firefox have been having a lot of issues lately, so that may be part of the problem. I think your best bet may be to update your internet program. I use firefox and I updated a couple months ago and mine has been running fine. If you need a link for an update to either, let me know girl

I ended up having to go on the site yesterday to look up something, and surprise suprise - my computer didn't freeze up! Which was like a miracle considering last time it froze up every 5 seconds literally and I could barely do anything on the computer while on the site.

I should go on it more so I can get use to it and take advantage of new spiffy options if has for us =]
