Hi guys!

I need to travel with more make up than I usually do because I'll be doing a bride.. I've never travel with a lot of make up and stuff in an airplane so I am not sure what are the guidelines so they do not stop me and tell me you can not pass this.. If this matter was discussed and there is a thread, please direct me to it. If not, if you guys can let me know.. ;-) I was gonna take with me a few things but I feel more comfortable taking my traincase just in case..

TIA

You really just need to put any creams and liquids in the 1 quart plastic bag, unfortunely that is not a lot of room! The maximum limit for any one liquid or cream is 3 fl. oz, so try to put things like moisturizer and primer in a sample jar to save space and not hit the maximum. Remember that you need to separate the liquids bag from the rest of your stuff when going through security and you should be fine!

Just to add: This is only if you will be taking your luggage on board with you. If you are checking your luggage in, this doesn't apply and you can take whatever you need with you.

yes i think that a lip gloss counts as a liquid as well.

usually i will put in my suit case my foundations and glosses and any cream products (but wrap in bubblewrap!!) and then with my hand luggage i have all my powder products that can break easy like my eye shadow palettes!!!

For carry-on, anything that can melt into a liquid needs to be in the 1qt bag. Mascara, lipstick, eyeliner, lipgloss, foundation, hand sanitizer, etc. When I went to Las Vegas, I just checked most of my make-up. It was just for me, so I didn't pack it real well, but had there been more, I would have. Everything (even my MSF's) arrived just fine both ways!

Don't forget that women are allowed to carry their purses onboard too...this saved my butt when I was traveling last year...I just stuffed everything that wouldn't fit in my carry-on bag into my purse.

Actually everyone's allowed 2 bags/ea. My husband & I bought a 2nd laptop in Las Vegas, so on the way home I had one w/ case and my purse and he had 2nd in a bookbag plus a carry on bag.
