~ Illuminator/Pearlizer, whatever you call it, help me find one!

I was originally on a hunt for a shimmery/glowy foundation but have given up due to the fact that most of them make the skin look horribly leathery or just somehow fake. Tried Mineralize Satinfinish and Clinique's New Moisture something... neither impressed me.

So now I'm looking for a illuminator/pearlizer/shimmer thing instead that I can just mix into my own foundation or use as highlight in specific areas. I've got fair asian NC20 skin.

Things I've tried and didnt like:
-Mineralize satinfinish foundation
-MSF Naturals
-Clinique Supermoisture Foundation [good shimmer bad feel]
-Benefit Highbeam [close but not fab]

Looking for something to give me THIS type of glow/shimmer:

or better yet

*I also prefer a liquid/cream product as opposed to a powder. Thanks in advance everyone

- MSF in light flush or warmed
- Luna or pearl pearlizer
- Vanilla pigment
What you can do is put on your foundation as usual, powder to set.
bronzer & blush
Then use 1 of the products I listed above. You will have the celeb red carpet look

Good luck

I would have to agree. Strobe Liquid is great for such things. I use it all the time to highlight my cheek bones and they just glow like no other.

Is there a significant difference between the strobe liquid and the strobe cream? Can I also mix this into my foundation/use all over my face? thanks alot

Strobe Cream is thicker, and more of a moisturizer. Liquid is lighter and can be layered pretty easily.

Yes, you can mix your foundation with Strobe Liquid! I usually mix it with Studio Fix Fluid and it gives me a bit of iridescence. I would suggest playing with mixing it to get the desired amount of glow. 1 part Strobe Liquid to 1 part foundation may or may not be what you want.

Be sure to let us know how it works out for you!

Def a good choice. Also, try That Gal primer by benefit.
