I'm Back!

[FONT=Times New Roman,Times,serif] I don't have the strength and/or energy to go through all of the stupid details...I'll get right to the good stuff. That's right, I said GOOD stuff. Bobby is here in FL with us now. He's staying until the 22nd of July. From there I'll fly back up to CO with him for 3 weeks. He'll see his counselor & his GAL (Guardian Ad Litem - a legal representative only for HIM). If he seems to be processing the longer stay in FL & the possibility of a permanent stay well, then we'll fly back to FL on August 12th & he will begin his 1st semester of 4th grade in FL! Then between the semesters (Christmas Break) we'll fly again up to CO & Bobby will see the counselor & GAL & if he's still doing well with being in FL for an even longer time & is just doing well in general (b/c it's a huge change) then he'll continue his 2nd semester & the transition to FL will be permanent & complete.

At the latest I'm hoping that the official change of custody (Me having primary residential custody) will occur. Right now I'm thinking all's I'll need is a power of attorney for medical & schooling decisions so I'd rather not fight for the official change of custody as not to ruffle Jackie's feathers any more than I have to. What matters, Ladies & Gentlemen, is that we HAVE Bobby. & technically if everything goes well...we'll continue to have him. So, this is the break we've been longing for. He's doing really well now. I anticipate hard times, I'm not so naive that I think this'll be 'Leave It To Beaver' in a day or so. With hard work, love, & understanding...we'll get to where we need to be. The Touchton Three (Bobby's own idea) =)
