I'm getting to that age....

...where my eyelids are starting to sag. Much as I would love to grow old ungracefully, money does not permit me such wonderful things as face lifts. Oh well, never mind. Gone are the days whereby I'm able to apply a gorgeous eye. I have, however found that this has made my makeup regime a lot quicker(should be pleased, even little things help, lol!) I've also discovered MAC's Fluidline Gel Eyeliners, and boy! Do I love these puppies! So far, I have the Blacktrack, Macroviolet, Ash Violet and Phlox Garden. I also have some other brands(who's names will go unmentioned in a MAC Thread)I love these on my top lids. I find if I just apply a light highlighter on my brown bone, with a slightly darker colour just below, I can get away with applying the Fluidline on my top lid(maybe on my tear line if I'm feeling dramatic!) some mascara and my look is complete! I plan on getting some more of the Fluidline colours. Maybe the dark blue, maybe a dark green if I can find one, I have green eyes. And I'm doing my utmost to get the gorgeous sage one that's out there. My friend introduced me to these, can anyone tell me how long a pot lasts? Not just if you use it every day, although I do want to know that, but also, if you don't use it every day. Some of my other gel liners have dried out rather quickly, and hoping that being as these are MAC products, they will last and not dry out until I've used the very last bit. Any info on these? Thanks, in advance!

I am at that age, too! I've had blacktrack fluidline for about a year now, and I use it at least once or twice a week. I still have a least 1/2 a pot left. Sometimes it gets a little dry on top, but I just stir it up and it's fine again! Hope this helps!

The last one I bought was in February, and it's still like new. I have had fluidlines last way longer than that though, you will be fine. I always take a little out on my brush and put it in the cap (with my personal liner, not the ones for my freelance work) and I've found that in a pinch if it's very dry just add a touch of visine, or better yet a mixing medium specifically for eye make up. HTH!

I've had them up to five years and store them in an airtight bag. As long as they're still creamy they are still good IMO.
