And on our call sheet, we have this:
"Arrive dressed and ready to go wearing 1 option, and bring atleast 2 other options, if you can. Women should arrive with hair and light make-up done."

Now, as a girl who has multiple traincases of makeup, but who has never been on film (and this is a Hollywood film - Renee Zellweger's new one!), I have NO idea what they mean by "light make-up". The scene is an outdoor christmas scene...if that helps? I can understand no super dramatic eyes or what not, but does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Outdoor Christmas scene sounds like..lots of twinkling lights. Really beautiful, radiant glowy skin would be gorgeous and natural. A nice, non shimmery highlighter on your cheekbones over a lightly flushed cheek would be gorgeous

I don't think I'm much help when it comes to eyes or lips in this situation, but I think playing up your skin and working with the light in the scene would be really appropriate, subtle, and lovely. Hope that helps??

I was told the same thing the day I had my modeling portfolio shot. Basically they want you to look natural. Bring out your features a bit. I used concealer, foundation, a LIGHT blush (think natural, like NARS orgasm), some soft colors for the eyes and mascara. I think I used something like MAC's shroom all over the lid with a little french grey and some little minx to give the eyes a little definition. I used pencil liner on the bottom lashes only and just blended everything really well.

Hope that helps! They just want you to look natural, but not so natural they can't see your face on camera.
