I'm new to MAC and need help with selecting my shade (HELP) (PICS)

I have a very difficult complexion. It's VERY hard finding a foundation that matches me.As of now I'm using Bobbi Brown Illuminating Finish Powder Compact in Golden 6 and it's a okay match( kinda light now because I got a little darker) but not enough coverage.I've been told that I'm NC44/NC45 or C7 in MAC but I'm not sure which to select. I decided to join this site today with the hopes of finding the perfect match for my skin.I've been really overwhelmed with seeking for the right color match and foundation for my acne prone/oily skin.I look a mess in these photos but I really don't care.I'm focused on finding a match.

The photos that I provided are my actual skin tone. Some of my complexion is blocked out by the sun but I'm sure you can still see my skin tone and under tone.

I can't recommend any specific shade only because it'll be a guess and would probably be wrong. The best way would be ask the mac counter for a sample of the shades they are recommending and try them out or get them to do one half of your face with NC44 and the other with NC45 then see which shade works best from there.

Definitely stop by a counter and get color matched. As mentioned above, see if you can get one color on one side of the face and the other color on the other side. Ask for samples if you can't decide on a color.

My guess is NC44. Let us know what your correct match is!

I think NC45 would be a tad too dark.... I even think you be a NC43, but was that discontinued?

NC43 should be available in Select SPF not too sure though.. it might be a tad bit too light.. and its according to what type of foundation youre looking for

For instance: NC45 in Studio Tech is darker than NC45 Studio Fix Liquid
and Also if differs in Studio Sculpt because of the formulation.

To me youre a clear nc45 but as everyone said it would be best if you go to a counter and test. Remember how your prep your skin would determine how it would look as well. Moisturize/primimg is necessary if youre looking for longevity and a smoother finish.

Hope this helps! and let us know how it goes

Select SPF is being discontinued and it runs a lot lighter then say SFF. I would say you are a NC43 or NC42 in SFF maybe NC45 in Studio Sculpt. If you are oily I'd give SFP a try, you'd probably be an NC45 ,C7 or maybe C8.
