Alright, Im new to MAC and I need to know the best products to get. Like if you had to start over and only get say, 5 things....what wold they be? Right now I have:

Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle
Fix+ Spray
and the lip conditioner in the squeeze tube.

I'm fairly light skinned (irish/native american) with green eyes and dark brown hair.

I dont mind bold styles on my eyes, but prefer to keep the lips pretty natural looking.

Thank you for your help!

I'm trying to get suggestions on what to buy. So far I have:

Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle
Fix+ spray
and the lip conditioner in the squeeze tube

I love to play up the eyes, but prefer to keep the lips pretty natural looking (but I DO love lippies!)

My skintone is fairly light (native american/irish...so as you can guess I tend to have red undertones...) and my eyes are green and my hair dark brown

i personally love reds, oranges and purples to play up the eyes. coppering and paradisco are really nice oranges that will make those green eyes stand out like no other!

you defintatly need a fluidline and i would recommend the 266 or 263 brush to apply it, however i think others use the 109 (think i got the brush numbers right).

a 239 brush for applying eyeshadow and pigments is another must have brush in my opinion.

i love enchantress lipgloss and also pink poodle as a nice natural peach colour and a staple pink that really isn't as frightening on as it looks in the tube.

i still have quite a small collection compared to some and i'm sure that people will have lots of other suggestions

purples & browns are also great with green eyes. I've been using purple eyeliner & mascara (non MAC) which really makes my eyes emerald green (people comment!).

Sometimes I use my eyeshadow as eyeliner & today for the first time I've tried MAC (Poison Pen - purple) as an eyeliner - it's come up great!

- The 130 brush is amazing for cream and liquid foundations.
- Coppering would look AMAZING with your eye colour.
- Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in your shade.
- Creme de Nude and Shy Girl are amazing lipstick colours.

I've got a very small collection, but if I had to start over and get 5 things I'd get:

Black fluidline
Beige-ing shadestick
Satin Taupe e/s
Fix+ (But you said you already had that)
the 217 brush!

I agree with the fluidline rec. And since you like to play up the eyes maybe an eyeshadow brush or two.

My other rec would be to take it slow since there's so much new, cool LE stuff that comes out.

Definitely! MAC releases new collections what seems to be every other week. So, don't worry to much about the things you have missed just get the new items that you love.

I would suggest this stuff if you need some basics to start your collection with...
Brushes:
187 (for foundation) look for this one at your CCO. They always have it at the one in MS. You can also use this one to apply a very pigmented blush with.
239 (for eyeshadow placement on the lid. It also can double as a crease brush.)
217 (blending, crease, and outer V)
168 (blush & contour)
134 (this is my fave, I use it for powder & sometime bronzer for an all over glow. It's pretty expensive, but I also found this one at the CCO in MS.)

Popping Green Eyes:
If you can I would suggest 2 quads. These are both LE quads, but they are both from Spring Colour Forecast Collection which is out now. You can take a look at the swatches of the palettes in the SCF swatch thread.
Spring Colour Forecast Quad 3. These purple/plum shades will look fantastic on you and really bring out you green eyes.
The next is from the same collection Quad 4. These are neutral shades, but they have a golden/copper/bronze tone to them. I think it would look great with your skin and eye color.

Nude Lips:
My fave- Viva Glam V- Great nude w/ just a hint of a pink undertone
Peachstock- Nude w/ peachy undertone. You can get it in the Liberty of London collection or call MAC Pro and order it.

Like a few others have mentioned above the Blacktrack fluidline.

Margin Blush- frosty peach

Now, please no one throw anything at me, but....
I just got both of the Sigma brush sets and I love them. Sigma is a very affordable alternative to MAC brushes. Some are not quite as good as MAC, but they are all good and definitely make it easier to get the job done. I love my sets and I so happy I just went ahead a bought them.
Also, I find the fluidline eyeliner a bit expensive for what it is. Seriously, it's just eyeliner. So, I turn to the Coastal Scents Gel Eyeliner instead. I love my MAC just as much as all of my fellow addicts, but somethings I cheat on.

The MAC stuff I use almost daily:
* Mineralize Skinfinish Natural (as a very natural, not powdery looking setting powder)
* Moisturecover Concealer (the best undereye/redness concealer everrrr)
* Patisserie Lipstick (MLBB lipstick)
* Joie de Vivre Cremeblend Blush (pop of color on the cheeks)

I use other brands for my eyes though. Just personal preference.

Woodwinked E/S
Mulch E/S
Rice Paper E/S
(They all look amazing on top of Indian wood paint pot)
Dainty Mineralize Blush (or maybe Dame if you're a cool pink girl like me hehe)
Syrup L/S
I'm pretty sure those colours would look nice on you
