I'm SUCH a PROUD Mom!!!!

Last night my son Tyler (he is in 8th grade), won the Director's Award for his participation in Band. This is an annual award given to an 8th grader who best demonstrates leadership skills and dedication to the program, as well as striving to be a strong musician and role model for other band members. He received a plaque to keep and his name is engraved on the one that will stay in the school. Earlier in the year he won a $500 Music Scholarship also. I am just so proud of him. He is 1st chair Clarinet in their Symphonic Band and 1st chair Bass Clarinet in their Concert Band and also plays a fake trumpet (LOL) with his Clarinet in the Jazz Band. Anyhow...
