In dire need of the right eyebrow pencil shade!

Ok I am pretty good at applying eyebrow pencil that is not my problem. The problem is finding a color to match my eyebrows because NONE do. I have light brown hair, and slightly darker eyebrows. I like my eyebrows darker than my hair but not too dark. I tried to even coat it with concealer or powder to lighten them to exact match, but it ends up making my eyebrows look gray! Then the worst part is this; in person my eyebrows can look fine. I have a 7.0 mega pixel camera that shows EVERY flaw and you can CLEARLY see the marks where I used the pencil because the color is totally different. I have tried several eyebrow pencils and they all don't match my brows perfectly. What am I doing wrong?!

You can try Anastacia products, available at Sephora stores and at Sephora.com I recommend you trying it out at the store with the testers since you have such a hard time, they have 2 different kinds of pencils, one really thin and one average depending on what kind of look you want, they also have the eyebrow kit with powder pan eye brow fillers and then they have a dual sided powder pen with blonde on one side and brown on the other. I recommend trying this brand out. I have a similar problem as you and Anastacia eyebrow cosmetics works great for me!!
I'd try out the blonde because it's actually not light, kind of like a light brown color.

Good luck!

this is why i prefer powder eyebrow fillers. i used to use pencil but like you said in pictures and even in person ifi rushed you can see where i filled in. i got this super cheap eyebrow powder (pressed like eyeshadow) from wlagreens. it was some generic brand over by the brushes and i love it! i use a eyeshadow brush but a thick angled one would do. no one even knows i color them in. i have farily dark eyebrows and hair and bought the lighter one since they only had 2 shades.

I have the same exact problem...I ended up mixing my anastasia powder in "Ash blonde" with a mixing medium and then took my smashbox eyebrow brush and 'stroked' brow 'hairs' in...I have to say I like smashbox's brow tech A LOT more than anastasia's brow powder but I had to get anastasia instead because smashbox didn't make ash blonde at the time but of course they JUST came out with it...
