Okay,.. so I went to the Beau event at Nordies this past Saturday (April 30th),.. they had the MA from Cincinnati (head of the district area) and I was a little disappointed,.. they didnt go over anything I didn't already know,...the artists eyebrows were in conflict of how she was telling us what color to use on them,....but they had the cutest little MAC cookies, water, real blank facecharts and all that,.. etc,... I did end up liking the Beau Quad once I got it on and got some lipglass stains,...(Roger, one of the head MA's at the counter is the bomb and I got more from talking to him then anything,...)And I can't believe it but another Specktra Lurker (recognized me from my FOTD posts and hopefully she will sign up!) were discussing the upcoming July 15th event and were clueing in another patron on the brush sets and while I mentioned that the premade brush sets are not quite as nice (I have the Holiday 2004 set which I do like), but a very good beginning if you aren't a brush snob,.... the MA from Cincy made a comment about them not being good brushes and was kinda shitty about it,.. not cool to dog your own products,.....she really didn't impress me much. But here is what I really wanted to share,.. coming up on May 12, 13, and 14th is a Nordies event here called "AOL-Artist On Location" It is a $10 ticket redeemable in product. You have to make an appointment with an MA,.. it includes all of the MU lines having makeovers and etc,.. if you spend $75.00 you get a minty green train case that is the cutest!, and if you go on Thursday night they are having a "Happy Hour" with cocktails upstairs in the training rooms. Just thought anybody lurking around from Indy or might be in the area might like the 411! I am signed up to go Thursday night at 6pm! Can't wait!
