I love this man and would marry him if it was permissable! He is a true genius. Anyway................he really inspired me. I used his tips and techniques from yesterdays class to do my face today. The eyes especially looked more sultry in person.

FACE: Prep&Prime skin, Armani LSF2 buffed into skin with 109, KA SSE used to spot conceal with 194, Invisible Set Powder applied with large powder brush (this stuff ROCKS!!) NARS Laguna bronzer in hollows of cheeks, on forehead (in the shape of a V from center), on chin and a little on nose.

CHEEKS: Golden Kitty/Primpin' duo and ScB's Diamond Dust(LOVE)

LIPS: Whirl l/l and Prrr l/g (love this l/g!)

EYES: Guerlain #144, White Wheat to highlight, Velour in crease and smudged below lashes, Twillery on inner half of lid, Inventive on outer half of lid, TF Luna on inner eye near tear duct, TF Cavalier w/mixing medium as liner applied with 208, Prunella eye kohl on waterline, MAC Zoomlash in black top and bottom.

The colors on the eyes look so much more sulty in person. I just love the placement. I tried doing the wing thing with my 208 and pigment. It was pretty easy, but I need to keep practicing. I also used Victor's mascara tip and it made a big difference in my lashes.

It's essentially contouring. You "draw" (lightly of course) an upside down V from the center of your forehead-so it would go from the center along your hairline on both sides. I'd never heard of this, but IMO it looks better than doing across your forehead. Does this make sense? And you can sort of see where it it focuses light on the center of my forehead-

OOPS! Sorry:/

Victor on mascara-don't pull the wand up from the base to tips over and over. 1. It makes the tips too heavy and any curling will be minimized if not totally undone. 2. It makes the tips look like tree branches. Instead wiggle, wiggle, wiggle the brush at the base-really gunk it up at the base and then pull the mascara thru to the tips. It keeps mascara at the base to hold curl and gives the effect of a thicker base. The ends of lashes look defined but natural.

It's somewhat similar to Nessa's tutorial here.

I think that it's wonderful that he chose you as a model... especially since a lot of your looks tend to lean towards the "natural" spectrum... I bet it gave you a lot of inspiration to try bolder colors and application. You have a beautiful face and amazing bone structure, so whatever you choose to wear in terms of colors and such will look great.

ITA with you about the bolder colors. I just never knew how to wear them before.
