invitation to MAC culturebloom!!!

i'm so excited!! i received an email invitation to go to MAC in NYC for an unveiling of mac's culturebloom collection!! i can't wait!! does anyone have any siggestions like what i should wear or how dressed up should i get?? any tips would be appreciated!!

thanks. i didnt know you could buy anything. i thought they were just showing you the collection. i guess my credit card is going to cry!! when i called the store to make my reservation, the guy only told me they would be showing the new collection, discussing makeup, and hor d'vours and alcholic beverages would be served. i'm still excited though

my friend once got an invite to an event and she just tossed it in the trash. She's not a mac lover like I am...

I don't know about NYC, but here in South Beach, every one goes in jeans and a nice top...like you were going out somewhere casual but nice...

I've been to these in L.A. before and people don't really dress up. Like someone else said, dressy casual is fine.

My friend got another invite ( lucky b*tch)and just told me about it yesterday.. she fowarded the msg. to me and it said she could bring a friend so I am hoping she'll let me go along..hehehehe.....

That is what I was wondering too but I know that I have spent way more then my friend so I don't think it can be that! Most likely random =/ But it's just so weird how she has gotten 3 invites to events and me none.
