This happens to me too...(And why is this in MAC CHAT lol? cuz it's a mac program lol?)

I would suggets making playlists of the music you want. Go to File--New Playlist and name it something and drag the songs in. Or File-->new Smart Playlist and say type in the name of an artist you like and it will make a playlist of just that person's song, or a particular album, genre, etc.

Then WHILE THE IPOD IS CONNECTED, go to Edit-->Preferences-->Click on IPOD tab. Instead of letting it automatically update ALL songs and playlists, select the ones you want.

Yeah but if you ask it to only update selected playlists (plus your music is more organized that way), the songs that aren't on the playlists you want will get zapped.

You could also just delete the songs out of the library like someone said.

My iPod has quickly become on those "inventions I never thought I could do without".

Same goes for my motorcycle, cellphone(i could still do without it tho), Nike SHOX, and my 1 leak-proof shaker bottle.

You can't edit/delete songs when you're the iPod is highlighted (in your case "Anjie<3"). Highlight library, then you should be able to edit. HTH.

I'm going through a hatred of all iPods phase. I've gone through four (one would break down and I'd send for a new one) and they all broke within a month and a half (except the first one, and then the warranty expired). So when I finally have the money to buy another music playing device, you can bet your ass it won't be an iPod. Sorry for the rant, but it ended up being almost six hundred dollars of wasted money in the end, and I'm bitter.

I got one for free when my sister bought a laptop and mine is seeming to be pretty crappy. It seems to hate all of the radio transmitters I've tried so I can't even use it in the car like I planned. I don't really care since it was free though. Haha.

Yup, IPOD does suck. It's so overrated because of the MAC name. I just baught a creative MP3 player and it's cheaper and holds more songs then the IPOD. IPOD is definitly not worth the money!!

I can't stand iTunes. I've been looking for other programs I can use with my iPod. I could hack it, but that's a last resort.

I was so happy when I found out the new car I was getting has an input for iPods (or anything with a headphone jack, really). I like my iPod a lot better now

I had to cover my ipod's ears so it didn't hear such blasphemous statements.

No really, I love mine.

Btw, if you have a tape deck in your car you can get one of the old walkman converters you plug in like a tape and then hook your ipod up to it and you're good to go.

This is DEFINITLY not the fault of your ipod..

ALLLLLLL fm transmitters suck ass.. No seriously. they do.. (yall can argue that your "transpod" is great. ive heard it. Its not)

the sound quality will be very very bad.. EVEN if you buy the 100 dollar one. and dont. its a waste of money. your better off either..
buying a new headunit that has an ipod input OR if you have a tape plater , buy one of those tapes that plugs into your ipod that will have better sound quality than a crappy fm transmitter...although it wont have the best quality.

I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE my IPOD. 30 gig Video.., and it is FAR more than enough room for me.. I have never had ANY problems with my ipod. ive had it a year or so. I use it in the car while Offroading (yay for no skipping!!)
its gotten dusty.. wet.. etc etc. and its still going strong. I hear alot of people complain about ipods..and Itunes..but i must disagree.

Oh i must add that My ipod is far easier to use than any other mp3 player ive ever seen. the menu is very straight forward and simple.there isnt a ton of jumping around and stuff.

I prefer iTunes...and as far as mine goes, I use mine the same way you use yours...
Husband got it for me for christmas last year and we're talking serious love here.

I got one of the rubber sport cases with a screen protector on it, and my truck has a clip for it. I still need a car charger though. :/
